Sound.

I have been making sounds for 23 years. In that time, I have also listened to some sounds.

My favorite sound is the sound of a whipped cream can, and also the steady drip of water droplets from a leaky faucet. Or better yet, a steel pipe. The pipe doesn't have to be made of steel, but, I'm told, they usually are. Then again, I am not an expert on pipe construction. I thought "pipe layer" was a made-up position until I laughed when someone introduced themselves as a pipe-layer. I completely fabricated that last thing, but you get the point.

Walmargeddon - Soundscape

In the event of apocalypse, would it be business as usual at the grocery store? I like to think it would.

A soundscape created exclusively with the human voice, except for the footsteps, which were created using feet, as footsteps usually are, and the glass and cans shattering, which were not created using feet, but for which, I am sorry to say, there is no good vocal alternative.

Polaroid Stories - Soundscape for Intermission

An intermission soundtrack for Naomi Iizuka’s Polaroid Stories, a modern retelling of Ovid’s Metamorphosis. Here, we see the underworld of Greek mythology enmeshed with the urban, industrial world of the homeless youth.
